A Screen Time Management Awareness Session was conducted by the MAHE Cooperative College of Teacher Education, Mahe (MCCTE) in association with Government Higher Secondary School, Kallachi, under the IQAC initiative. The session, held on October 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, aimed to create awareness among students about the effects of excessive screen use and ways to maintain a healthy digital balance.
Ms. Swathi Rajeev, a second-year B.Ed student of MCCTE, served as the resource person and led an interactive session highlighting the physical, mental, and academic impacts of overexposure to screens. She also shared useful strategies for responsible technology use.
The programme was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Mrs. Sujithra Kaviyoor (Headmistress, GHSS Kallachi). The session proved to be insightful and encouraged students to adopt healthier and more mindful screen habits.
