Inclusive Education Class
The IQAC of Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education, in association with CEBGHSS, Mahe, conducted a class on Inclusive Education on 24th October 2025 at 1:00 PM for the students of Class IX. The session was handled by Ms. Neha Fathima, II Year B.Ed student of MCCTE.
The programme aimed to make students understand the importance of including every learner in the classroom, regardless of their differences. The resource person explained the concept of inclusive education through examples, stories, and interactive discussions. Students actively participated and shared their thoughts on helping and supporting peers with different learning needs.
The session emphasized that education is not limited to the classroom but is a lifelong journey that values equality, empathy, and cooperation. It helped students develop awareness about the need for acceptance and respect towards everyone. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Asst. Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Reena (HM, CEBGHSS).
Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and effective in spreading the message of inclusiveness among the students.
