The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), in association with AKGSGHSS, Peralassery, organized a Campus Beautification Programme on 24th October 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and to maintain a clean, green, and aesthetically pleasing campus. Students from MCCTE took the lead in organizing and coordinating the event. The coordinators were Vishnupriya A.K. (English), Sathwik Pramod (English), Gayathri V.C. (English), Arsha Shivadas (English), Nandana Vinod (Biological Science), Abhin Raj P.P. (Physical Science), and Revandh K. (Social Science).
The event was conducted successfully under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE and General Coordinator, Ms. Revathy M, Assistant Professor and IQAC Coordinator, and Ms. Susmitha K, Headmistress of AKGSGHSS and Programme Co-ordinator.
The participants actively engaged in cleaning, planting saplings, and beautifying various areas of the campus. The programme concluded with the message “Keep Our Campus Clean and Green,” reinforcing the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community participation.
