UNICEF Day Observation – Video Presentation
The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in collaboration with the Eco Club, observed UNICEF Day by organizing a Video Presentation programme on 11 December 2025 at 9:00 PM through the Google Meet platform.
The programme was conducted under the general coordination of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal, MCCTE. The IQAC coordination was undertaken by Mr. Arun U, Assistant Professor, MCCTE, and the programme coordination was efficiently handled by Ms. Namitha T, Assistant Professor, MCCTE.
The highlight of the programme was a video presentation delivered by Ms. Sreenanda B, First Year Biological Science student. The presentation focused on the role of UNICEF in promoting child rights, child welfare, education, health, and environmental awareness across the globe. The video effectively highlighted UNICEF’s initiatives aimed at ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for children.
The session was informative and engaging, encouraging participants to reflect on their responsibility towards protecting children’s rights and promoting environmental sustainability. Active participation and appreciation from students and faculty members marked the success of the programme.
The programme concluded with a note of appreciation for the presenter and organisers. The UNICEF Day observation served as a meaningful platform to spread awareness and reinforce the values of social responsibility and environmental consciousness among student teachers.
