First Year School Internship Visit
Government Lower Primary School, Moolakkadavu
As part of the First Year B.Ed. School Internship Programme, a group of student teachers visited Government Lower Primary School Moolakkadavu. The visit was organised to provide the student teachers with an opportunity to observe the functioning of a primary school and to gain practical exposure to the teaching–learning process at the elementary level.During the visit, the student teachers observed the infrastructure, classroom environment, and the overall functioning of the school. The school provides foundational education for young learners and plays an important role in shaping the early learning experiences of children in the locality.
The interns interacted with the teachers and school authorities to understand various aspects of primary education, including classroom management, teaching strategies, and student engagement methods suitable for young learners. They also observed how teachers use simple teaching aids and interactive activities to make learning effective and interesting for children.
The visit helped the student teachers understand the importance of patience, creativity, and communication skills while teaching at the primary level. It also enabled them to connect the theoretical concepts studied in the B.Ed. course with real classroom practices.
