Penalty Shoot-Out Competition in Solidarity with FIFA World Cup 2026

The IQAC of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with the EKTHA College Union, organized a Penalty Shoot-Out Competition on 13 June 2026 at 1:30 PM on the college campus in solidarity with the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The event was conducted with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm for football among the students while celebrating the spirit of the FIFA World Cup. Students from different batches actively participated in the competition, showcasing their football skills, confidence, and competitive spirit. The shoot-out rounds witnessed exciting moments as participants displayed accuracy, composure, and determination in front of an enthusiastic audience.

The programme created a vibrant sporting atmosphere on the campus and encouraged healthy competition among the students. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie, physical fitness, and appreciation for international sporting events.

The competition concluded with the declaration of the winners and the appreciation of all participants for their active involvement. The programme was a grand success, reflecting the college's commitment to promoting extracurricular activities and fostering a spirit of unity and sportsmanship among future educators.

 Farewell Programme – "Alvida Amigoes"

The EKTHA College Union of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, organized the farewell programme "Alvida Amigoes" for the outgoing 2024–2026 B.Ed. batch on 13 June 2026 at 10.00 AM in the College Auditorium. The programme was organized to bid a warm and memorable farewell to the final-year students and to honor Mrs. Padmalekha V. M. and Mr. Vipin K., Assistant Professors of the college.

The programme commenced with a vibrant welcome dance performed by Rithina and team, representing the first-year students. The gathering was formally welcomed by Mr. Harshith M., Chairman of the Students' Union, who extended a cordial welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. He highlighted the memorable journey of the outgoing batch and wished them success in their future endeavors.

The programme was followed by a felicitation session, during which members of the MCCTE family shared their experiences, conveyed heartfelt wishes, and appreciated the contributions and achievements of the outgoing students. Faculty members encouraged the graduates to uphold the values of the teaching profession and continue striving for excellence.

A prize distribution ceremony was also held to recognize the achievements of students in various academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities. The winners received their prizes amidst enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Dhanush Krishna, General Secretary of the Students' Union, who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, Principal, faculty members, students, and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the programme.

The formal function was followed by a lively farewell party, featuring cultural performances, games, music, and interactive sessions that created cherished memories for the outgoing students. The programme concluded on a joyful note, strengthening the bonds of friendship and leaving the participants with fond memories of their time at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education.
