Awareness Class on Local History and Landmarks
An awareness class on the topic “Local History and Landmarks” was conducted on 22nd October 2025 at 11:45 a.m. at Government Vocational Higher Secondary School (GVHSS), Koduvally. The programme was organized by the IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) in association with GVHSS Koduvally.
The session was handled by Ms. Anamika C.K, a second-year B.Ed. student from MCCTE. The class was arranged for the students of Class 7. She presented the topic effectively, helping students understand the value of learning about their local history and recognizing important landmarks in their surroundings.
Through interactive discussions and examples, she encouraged students to appreciate their community’s culture, heritage, and historical significance. The class helped them realize the importance of preserving local monuments and places of historical interest.
