Awareness Class on “Pocket Money Savings”
An awareness class on “Pocket Money Savings” was organized by the IQAC of Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education in association with CEBGHSS, Mahe on 23rd October 2025 at 12.30 PM. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of managing and saving their pocket money wisely.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Neha Fathima, a II Year B.Ed student of MCCTE, Mahe. She effectively interacted with the students, explaining the significance of budgeting, spending habits, and the value of saving for future needs. Through examples and discussions, she encouraged students to adopt small yet consistent saving practices.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Reena (HM, CEBGHSS). The session received positive feedback from the students, who actively participated and shared their views.
Overall, the awareness class was informative and successful in instilling financial awareness among the students, motivating them to “Save Smart” and manage their finances responsibly.
