A session on Teaching About Local History And Land marks was conducted by Rishinand. S (Social Science) on 24th October 2025, Friday at 2:40 pm at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pattiam.
The session aimed to enhance students’ awareness about the rich cultural and historical heritage of their local area. Rishinand. S highlighted various important events, places, and personalities that have contributed to the development and identity of the Pattiam region. The students were introduced to the significance of preserving local traditions, monuments, and folklore as an essential part of community pride and national history.
Interactive discussions and question-answer sessions helped students actively participate and share their own knowledge and experiences related to local history. The session also encouraged them to take interest in exploring and documenting their surroundings for better understanding of their roots.
