MANAGING SCREEN TIME

 The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in association with Government Vocational Higher Secondary School (GVHSS), Koduvally, organized a session on “Managing Screen Time” on 23rd October 2025 at 1:15 PM at GVHSS Koduvally.


The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of regulating screen usage and maintaining a healthy balance between digital engagement and real-life interactions. The resource person for the session was Ms. Athira Sunil P, a second-year B.Ed. student from MCCTE, Mahe.


Ms. Athira highlighted the impact of excessive screen time on physical and mental health and shared effective strategies to manage it. She emphasized that mindful use of digital devices can free up more time to connect with family and friends, promoting overall well-being. The session was interactive and engaging, encouraging students to reflect on their own screen habits.

The programme was held under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE, who served as the General Coordinator. Ms. Revathy M, Assistant Professor, MCCTE, acted as the IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Prajeesh, teacher at GVHSS Koduvally, served as the Programme Coordinator.

The event concluded with a feedback session where participants shared their insights and resolutions to practice better screen management. The collaborative effort between MCCTE and GVHSS Koduvally made the programme a successful and enlightening experience for all attendees.
