AWARENESS SESSION ON FIRE SAFETY DRILL

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Cooperative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in association with JNGHSS, Mahe, conducted an Awareness Session on Fire Safety Drill on 23 October 2025 from 1:45 PM onwards.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about essential fire safety practices, emergency response steps, and precautionary measures to be taken during fire-related incidents. The session also intended to equip students with the confidence and presence of mind required to respond effectively in emergency situations.

The session was coordinated by Mr. Vyas Jagadeesh, a 2nd Year English student-teacher of MCCTE, who explained the importance of fire safety, demonstrated basic emergency procedures, and highlighted the use of fire extinguishers and evacuation techniques. His guidance helped students gain a practical understanding of fire safety protocols.
