ZUMBA SESSION

 The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized an energetic Zumba Session on September 15, 2025, at 3:30 PM, held at Govt. Middle School (GMS), Mahe. This fitness and wellness initiative was conducted in close association with GMS, aiming to promote physical health and stress relief among the students and faculty of both institutions. The event was effectively managed by the collaborative team of co-ordinators: Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE, and General Co-ordinator), Ms. Revathy M (Asst. Prof., MCCTE, and IQAC Co-ordinator), and Mr. Ajith Prasad (HM, GMS, and Programme Co-ordinator).

The session was led by Resource Person Athira K R, a second-year B.Ed student from MCCTE, who expertly guided the participants through a dynamic and fun-filled Zumba routine, seamlessly blending fitness and dance. The session saw enthusiastic participation from all attendees, serving as a vibrant demonstration of the importance of integrating physical activity into daily life, especially for future educators. This successful wellness program underscored the institutions' commitment to the holistic development of their communities, achieving its goal of promoting a healthy, active lifestyle through a highly engaging and enjoyable group exercise.
