Science Fair Conducted During National Chemistry Week
The Chemistry Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Science Fair as part of the National Chemistry Week celebrations on 23 October 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the college campus.
The Science Fair aimed to promote scientific thinking, creativity, and innovation among students by providing a platform to exhibit their scientific models, experiments, and innovative ideas. Participants presented a variety of exhibits related to chemistry and allied sciences, highlighting concepts such as chemical reactions, sustainability, environmental protection, and everyday chemical applications.
Students actively explained the working principles, scientific concepts, and relevance of their exhibits to the audience. The fair encouraged inquiry-based learning and helped develop presentation skills, teamwork, and confidence among participants.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members. The interactive environment of the fair enabled meaningful discussions and strengthened students’ interest in science and research.
The programme concluded successfully, marking a significant highlight of the National Chemistry Week celebrations. The Chemistry Club expressed its intention to continue organizing such enriching academic events in the coming years
