The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in collaboration with Govt. Middle School, Mahe, organized a Campus Beautification Programme on 24 October 2025. The main objective of the programme was to promote environmental awareness and encourage the importance of maintaining a clean and green campus.
The theme of the event, “Clean Campus, Green Campus”, reflected the commitment of both institutions towards environmental sustainability and community participation. The programme aimed to beautify the school surroundings through cleaning activities, planting of saplings, and creating awareness among students about the significance of cleanliness and greenery.
The session was conducted by Ms. Devangana R, Ms. Anjana O K, and Ms. Athira K R, who guided and coordinated the various beautification activities effectively. Their enthusiasm and leadership contributed significantly to the success of the event.

The participants engaged actively in cleaning the campus premises and planting ornamental and shade plants, thereby transforming the school environment into a cleaner and greener space. The initiative not only enhanced the aesthetic beauty of the campus but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility among students and teachers alike.
Overall, the Campus Beautification Programme was a great success, promoting teamwork, community involvement, and environmental consciousness. The collaborative effort between MCCTE and Govt. Middle School, Mahe, set a commendable example of sustainable practices in educational institutions.
