The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with GVHSS Koduvally, organized a Yoga and Wellness Session on 24th October 2025 at 1:15 PM at GVHSS Koduvally.
The session aimed to promote physical health, mental peace, and overall wellness among the participants. The programme emphasized the importance of yoga as a holistic practice for maintaining balance in both body and mind.
The resource persons for the session were Reshmina Sherin, Anjana Das, and Athira Sunil P, who are second-year B.Ed students from MCCTE, Mahe. They effectively demonstrated and explained various yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises. Their presentation highlighted how yoga can help in managing stress and improving concentration and emotional well-being.
The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal, MCCTE (General Coordinator), and Ms. Revathy M, Assistant Professor, MCCTE (IQAC Coordinator). The programme was efficiently managed by Mr. Prajeesh, teacher at GVHSS Koduvally (Programme Coordinator).
The session concluded with an inspiring message that “Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame.” The event proved to be an enlightening and refreshing experience for all participants, promoting awareness about the significance of yoga and a healthy lifestyle.
