The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with GHSS Kallachi, organized a programme titled “Library Modification” on 23rd October 2025. The event was conducted under the initiative of IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) with the aim of enhancing the learning environment and promoting the effective use of library resources among students.
The programme was implemented by Vismaya P K of 2nd year B.Ed English. Gopika G from Biological Science, Chandana Rajesh and Vismaya k from Physical Science departments were also joined.Their efforts focused on reorganizing, decorating, and modernizing the school library to make it more attractive and student-friendly.
The activity was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal and General Coordinator of MCCTE. Ms. Revathy M, Assistant Professor of MCCTE, served as the IQAC Coordinator, and Ms. Sujithra, Headmistress of GHSS Kallachi, acted as the Programme Coordinator.
The Library Modification Programme proved to be a valuable initiative that fostered creativity of teacher trainee. It not only improved the physical setup of the library but also inspired students to utilize library facilities more effectively.
