Report on Electric Shock Awareness Session
An Electric Shock Awareness Session* was conducted by Amaya KV and Ayisha Shaana on 7th October 2025 at 10.30 am in RGMHSS Mokeri*. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the causes, prevention, and first aid measures related to electric shocks.During the session, the presenters explained the dangers of handling electrical equipment carelessly and emphasized the importance of safety precautions such as using insulated wires, avoiding wet hands while touching electrical switches, and turning off the main power supply during electrical faults.Demonstrations on basic first aid steps to be taken in case of electric shock were also given.
The session was highly informative and helped students understand the seriousness of electrical safety in daily life. It encouraged them to stay alert and act responsibly while using electrical appliances.
