A remedial teaching session was conducted on 7th October 2025 at 1.00 pm under the initiative of IQAC in association with CEBGHSS, Mahe. The session was organized by Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, with Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE, as the General Coordinator, Miss Revathy M, Assistant Professor, as the IQAC Coordinator, and Miss Shaheera, Teacher of CEBGHSS, as the Class Coordinator. The session was led by Neha Fathima, a second-year B.Ed student of MCCTE, as the resource person.
The class focused on providing support to Class 9 CBSE students who needed additional help in understanding their science lessons. The main objective was to strengthen their conceptual clarity and build confidence in learning through simple explanations and interactive discussions. The resource person used engaging methods such as questioning, visual aids, and short quizzes to make the class participatory and effective. Students were encouraged to express their doubts freely, which created a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
The students responded enthusiastically and showed improved understanding and interest by the end of the session. The program successfully achieved its purpose of bridging learning gaps and motivating students to approach science with curiosity and confidence. It also reflected the spirit of the saying, “The influence of a good teacher can never be erased.”
