A Zumba Session was organized by the IQAC of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) in association with GVHSS Koduvally on 6th October 2025 at 11:30 a.m.
The session aimed to promote physical fitness, stress relief, and joyful movement among students through the energetic and rhythmic dance form of Zumba. It encouraged participants to stay active while enjoying music and movement in a lively and engaging environment.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Fazna Afthab, 2nd-year B.Ed student, MCCTE, who led the session with enthusiasm and energy. She introduced the students to basic Zumba steps and guided them through a series of fun and fitness-oriented dance routines. The session reflected the spirit of the quote —“Don’t count the steps, make every move count!”
The program was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Shajitha (Teacher, GVHSS Koduvally), who served as the general, IQAC, and program coordinators respectively.The event concluded on a cheerful note, leaving participants refreshed, motivated, and inspired to include fitness as a regular part of their lifestyle
