ELECTRIC SHOCK AWARENESS SESSION
An Electric Shock Awareness Session was conducted on 3 October 2025 at 2:00 PM by Anusmaya G.S, Archana R, Snigdha A.V, Abhiram Murali K, and Vijnandas K.P. The objective of the session was to educate students about the risks associated with electric shock and to promote safe practices while handling electrical appliances.
During the session, the team explained the causes of electric shocks, common household electrical hazards, and preventive measures. Students were taught about the importance of using insulated materials, avoiding water contact near electrical devices, and reporting damaged wiring. The facilitators also discussed basic first-aid steps to be taken in case of an electric shock, such as switching off the power source and seeking immediate medical help.
Interactive demonstrations and visual aids helped make the session more engaging and understandable. Students participated actively and shared their own experiences and observations.
Overall, the session was informative and helped students gain valuable awareness about electrical safety and precautions.
