Fun Experiment Conducted During National Chemistry Week
The Chemistry Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Fun Experiment Session as part of the National Chemistry Week celebrations on 22 October 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the college campus.
The activity aimed to spark scientific curiosity among students by demonstrating simple and enjoyable chemistry experiments. The session showcased experiments that highlighted interesting chemical reactions, colour changes, and observable transformations, making the subject more engaging and approachable.
Students participated enthusiastically, observing each experiment closely and discussing the scientific principles behind them. The activity helped them understand how chemistry operates in day-to-day life while building interest in practical learning. The interactive nature of the session encouraged questioning, exploration, and teamwork.
The programme concluded with positive feedback from the participants, who appreciated the hands-on, entertaining approach to learning chemistry. The Chemistry Club expressed its intention to continue organising such creative and student-friendly activities as part of future National Chemistry Week events.
