REPORT ON EARTHQUAKE AWARENESS SESSION
The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with GVHSS Koduvally, organized an awareness session on “Earthquake” on 14th October 2025 at 11:40 a.m. The session was conducted by Anusree K K, 2nd year Mathematics student of MCCTE, as the resource person.
The class was organized for Class 5 students of GVHSS Koduvally with the objective of creating awareness about earthquakes, their causes, and safety measures to be taken during such natural disasters. The session included interactive discussions, demonstrations, and simple explanations to help students understand the concept clearly.
The students actively participated and shared their ideas and experiences, making the session lively and informative. The event was coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as the General Coordinator and Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE) as the IQAC Coordinator.
Overall, the session was effective in enhancing the students’ knowledge about earthquakes and promoting awareness on disaster preparedness.
