An awareness programme on Energy Conservation was organized by MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe (MCCTE) in association with GVHSS Koduvally under the initiative of IQAC. The programme aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of conserving energy and adopting sustainable practices for a better future.
The event was held on 17th October 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at GVHSS Koduvally.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Anjana Das, a 2nd year B.Ed. student of MCCTE, Mahe. She delivered an insightful session on the need for energy conservation in daily life and highlighted various simple yet effective methods to reduce energy wastage. Her presentation emphasized the slogan “Save energy today for a better tomorrow.”
The programme was well-coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K – Principal, MCCTE (General Co-ordinator), Ms. Revathy M – Assistant Professor, MCCTE (IQAC Co-ordinator), Smitha – Teacher, GVHSS Koduvally (Programme Co-ordinator).
The session was informative and thought-provoking, helping participants understand the value of energy efficiency and sustainability. The collaboration between MCCTE and GVHSS Koduvally made the event a successful educational outreach towards building environmental responsibility among future educators and students.
