The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with GVHSS Kannur, organized a Library Improvement Program on 17th October 2025 at the school library. The program was aimed at enhancing the learning environment by organizing and improving the available library resources, thereby promoting reading habits among students.
The session was conducted by Navanya P. P. and Ashima Kokkadan second-year B.Ed students of MCCTE. The participants actively took part in arranging books, labeling, cleaning, and reorganizing the library materials. The initiative not only helped in maintaining the library systematically but also created awareness about the importance of library usage in fostering knowledge and curiosity among learners.
The program was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K. (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M. (IQAC Co-ordinator and Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Rindhu (Principal, GVHSS Kannur). Their valuable support and supervision contributed to the successful completion of the event.
Overall, the Library Improvement Drive was a fruitful and enriching experience that highlighted the role of collaborative efforts in creating a better educational environment.
