An awareness session on “Energy Conservation” was organized by the IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in collaboration with GHSS Kallachi, on October 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The aim of the programme was to make students aware of the importance of conserving energy and adopting sustainable practices in their daily lives.
The session was conducted by Ms. Chandana Rajesh, a second-year B.Ed. student of MCCTE, Mahe. She led an informative and interactive discussion focusing on the need for energy conservation, the harmful effects of energy wastage, and practical steps students can take to save energy both at home and in school.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal, MCCTE, Mahe (General Coordinator); Mrs. Revathy, Assistant Professor, MCCTE, Mahe (IQAC Coordinator); and Mrs. Sujithra, Headmistress, GHSS Kallachi (Programme Coordinator).
Students participated enthusiastically, sharing their thoughts and ideas.
