Energy Conservation Awareness Programme
The IQAC of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with Iringannur Higher Secondary School, organized an Energy Conservation Awareness Programme on 17th October 2025 at 3:30 PM at IHSS.
The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of conserving energy and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. The programme highlighted the need to reduce energy consumption and promote renewable sources for a better future.
The Resource Person for the session was Fathimath Hasna A.K., a Second Year B.Ed. student of MCCTE. She delivered an informative and engaging presentation explaining various methods of energy conservation such as minimizing wastage, using energy-efficient appliances, and switching to eco-friendly energy sources. The students actively participated in the interactive session and shared their thoughts and experiences related to energy saving.
The session concluded with a discussion emphasizing that small actions taken by individuals can lead to a big difference in protecting the environment. Overall, the programme was very effective in spreading awareness about responsible energy use.
