Hands-on Workshop Conducted During National Chemistry Week
The Chemistry Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Hands-on Workshop as part of the National Chemistry Week celebrations on 20 October 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the college campus.
The workshop aimed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities by allowing them to perform simple chemical experiments and demonstrations under guided supervision. The session focused on enhancing scientific curiosity, improving laboratory skills, and strengthening conceptual understanding through practical engagement.
Participants actively took part in various hands-on activities that highlighted the relevance of Chemistry in everyday life. The workshop encouraged students to explore chemical reactions, observe changes, and apply theoretical knowledge in an interactive and collaborative environment.
The event received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from the students. It successfully fostered scientific temper and promoted the spirit of inquiry—core goals of National Chemistry Week. The Chemistry Club expressed its commitment to organizing more such activity-based learning programmes in the future.
