SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION CONDUCTED BY LITERARY CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Literary Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized an inspiring Short Story Writing Competition on 27 March 2025 at 10:00 AM in the college campus. The event aimed to nurture creative writing skills, encourage imaginative thinking, and promote literary expression among student-teachers.
The programme began with an introduction by the club coordinators, who emphasized the importance of creative writing as a means of self-expression and intellectual development. Participants were provided with guidelines and encouraged to craft original stories based on themes of their choice.
Students enthusiastically took part in the competition, presenting stories that showcased a wide range of ideas, emotions, and narrative styles. Their works reflected creativity, thoughtful characterization, and effective use of language. The quiet and focused environment allowed participants to engage deeply with the writing process.
A panel of faculty members evaluated the entries based on creativity, coherence, originality, narrative structure, and language quality. The best stories were selected for appreciation, and the efforts of all participants were acknowledged.
