LITERARY QUIZ COMPETITION CONDUCTED BY LITERARY CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Literary Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized an intellectually stimulating Literary Quiz Competition on 6 March 2025 at 11:30 AM in the college campus. The event aimed to promote literary awareness, enhance reading habits, and encourage healthy competition among student-teachers.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the club coordinators, who emphasized the significance of literary knowledge in enriching language skills, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their interest in literature across various genres and periods.
The quiz consisted of multiple rounds covering areas such as classic and contemporary literature, authors and their works, literary terms, poetry, drama, and regional as well as world literature. Participants demonstrated quick thinking, teamwork, and a strong grasp of literary concepts.
Faculty members served as judges and scorekeepers, ensuring a fair and engaging competition. The event concluded with the announcement of the winning team, followed by appreciation for all participants for their spirited involvement.
Overall, the Literary Quiz Competition was an enriching academic experience that strengthened literary engagement and contributed to the vibrant learning environment of MCCTE, Mahe.
