REPORT ON PENALTY SHOOT OUT ON EVENT
The Women's Cell at our college recently organized a penalty shootout event, which turned out to be an exciting and empowering experience for all participants. The event aimed to promote women's participation in sports and foster a sense of community among female students. The penalty shootout took place on the college football field, with over 20 participants from various departments and years. The event was divided into two rounds: a qualifying round and a final round. In the qualifying round, each participant took five penalty shots, and the top eight scorers moved on to the final round. The final round was a knockout stage, where participants competed against each other on a head-to-head format. The winner of each matchup advanced to the next round until the champion was crowned.
The event was officiated by a team of experienced referees and judges, who ensured that the competition was fair and safe. The participants displayed impressive skills, strategy, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
In the end, the top three winners were announced. Shahin Sulthana from the first-year Social Science program secured the first position, showcasing exceptional penalty-taking skills. Anagha NP from the second-year Physical Science program came in second, demonstrating remarkable accuracy and composure. Vismaya from the first-year Physical Science program took the third position, impressing the judges with her speed and agility.
The Women's Cell organizers presented trophies and certificates to the winners. The event concluded with a group photo session and a motivational speech by the Women's Cell convenor, emphasizing the importance of women's empowerment through sports and extracurricular activities. Overall, the penalty shootout event was a resounding success, promoting women's participation in sports, fostering camaraderie, and providing a platform for female students to showcase their talents. The Women's Cell deserves appreciation for organizing such an engaging and inspiring event.
