WOMEN’S DAY QUIZ

The Quiz Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Women’s Day Quiz on 8th March 2025 at 12:45 PM in celebration of International Women’s Day. The event aimed to promote awareness about women's achievements, gender equality, and the importance of empowering women in all spheres of life.
The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a brief introduction on the significance of International Women’s Day and its global theme. Students were encouraged to recognize the contributions of women throughout history and reflect on the ongoing efforts needed to achieve gender equality.
Several teams actively participated in the quiz, which included diverse and informative rounds such as:

Contemporary Women Leaders and Achievers

Rapid-Fire Round on Women-Centric Topics
Participants demonstrated enthusiasm, strong teamwork, and excellent recall throughout the competition. The lively sessions encouraged students to appreciate women’s contributions and understand the challenges women continue to face globally.
The Quiz Club coordinators ensured fair scoring, smooth transitions between rounds, and active engagement of the audience. Many students from the audience also participated in answering bonus questions and cheering for the competing teams.
At the end of the competition, the winning team was declared and appreciated for their commendable performance. All participants received acknowledgement for their enthusiasm and involvement.
The programme concluded with a message emphasizing the importance of fostering respect, equality, and opportunities for women in all aspects of society.
The Women’s Day Quiz was an inspiring, educational, and successful initiative, reinforcing the Quiz Club’s commitment to fostering awareness, knowledge, and inclusivity among students.
