The Quiz Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Pi Day Quiz on 8th March 2025 at 10:30 AM to celebrate Pi Day, an occasion dedicated to appreciating the mathematical constant π (pi) and promoting interest in mathematics among students.
The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a brief introduction to the history and significance of Pi Day. Students were encouraged to explore the beauty of mathematics and understand how the number π plays a crucial role in various scientific and real-life applications.

Participants demonstrated strong logical thinking, teamwork, and enthusiasm as they answered questions involving numerical concepts, mathematical history, and innovative problem-solving challenges. The quiz created an atmosphere of fun learning and intellectual excitement.
The Quiz Club coordinators ensured smooth conduct of the event through clear instructions, accurate scoring, and timely transitions between rounds. Audience members also engaged actively by attempting bonus questions and supporting their teams.
At the end of the competition, the winning team was announced and appreciated for their excellent performance. All participants were acknowledged for their interest and spirited participation.
The programme concluded with a message encouraging students to embrace mathematics with curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
