The session began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of sharing personal mental health journeys to break stigma and normalize emotional struggles. The guest speaker/shared speaker spoke openly about their personal journey through mental health challenges, recovery process, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking help and maintaining hope. The talk was deeply moving and relatable, allowing students to understand that mental health struggles are a part of human life and can be managed with the right support.

The speaker emphasized the significance of self-acceptance, support systems, professional help, and positive lifestyle changes in maintaining mental well-being. Students listened attentively and were emotionally engaged throughout the session. The honest and open sharing created a safe space for reflection, understanding, and emotional connection.

An interaction session followed where students asked questions and shared their thoughts and concerns. Many students expressed that the talk helped them feel less alone in their struggles and encouraged them to approach mental health with more confidence and openness. Faculty members also reinforced the importance of counselling, self-care, and peer support.

The programme concluded with appreciation from the coordinators, who encouraged students to prioritize their mental health and to support one another with kindness and empathy.
