SCIENCE EXHIBITION
Organized by the Biological Science Club, MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe
Date: 05 March 2025
Time: 3:00 PM
The Biological Science Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organized a Science Exhibition on 5th March 2025 at 3:00 PM with the objective of promoting scientific curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning among students. The event provided an opportunity for students to present innovative models, experiments, and demonstrations related to various concepts in biological science.
The programme began with a welcome introduction highlighting the importance of experiential learning and the role of exhibitions in enhancing scientific understanding. Students displayed a wide range of exhibits, including working models, charts, biological specimens, eco-friendly innovations, and simple experiments that demonstrated key scientific principles. The exhibits covered themes such as human physiology, plant biology, environmental conservation, microbiology, and sustainable practices.
Visitors, including faculty members and students from different departments, interacted with the participants and asked questions about their projects. This interaction allowed students to develop confidence, improve communication skills, and explain scientific concepts clearly. The exhibition created an engaging learning environment, encouraging collaborative work and peer learning.
The exhibits were evaluated based on creativity, scientific accuracy, clarity of explanation, relevance, and overall presentation. Judges appreciated the students for their thoughtful ideas, effort, and understanding of biological concepts. The event helped enhance scientific thinking and fostered a spirit of innovation among the participants.
The programme concluded with words of encouragement from the coordinators, who acknowledged the hard work of the students and emphasized the importance of continuing to explore science beyond the classroom. The Science Exhibition was an enriching and successful initiative, reflecting the Biological Science Club’s commitment to nurturing scientific awareness, practical learning, and intellectual growth among students.
