The programme began with a brief introduction explaining the importance of gender justice and the need to address discrimination, harassment, and violence faced by women in various spheres of life. Students enacted different scenarios that portrayed issues such as domestic violence, workplace harassment, unequal opportunities, and violation of legal rights. Each performance was designed to shed light on the struggles faced by women and the significance of legal and social support systems.

The role play also demonstrated the processes involved in seeking justice, including reporting incidents, accessing support services, and understanding legal protections such as the Domestic Violence Act, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, and other relevant laws. Students highlighted the crucial role of bystanders, institutions, and society in supporting victims and ensuring justice.

The audience engaged attentively with the performances, and afterwards, a short discussion was held where faculty members elaborated on the importance of gender equality, emotional support, and awareness of legal rights. The activity encouraged students to reflect on their attitudes and to contribute towards creating a safe and respectful environment for all.

The programme concluded with appreciation from the coordinators, who acknowledged the students’ meaningful presentation and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to promoting women’s safety and empowerment.
