INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION BY WOMEN-CELL
On March 07, 2025 Women cell of Mahe Co-Operative College of Teacher Education organized International Women's Day celebration. In which games were conducted exclusively for girl students. The purpose of celebrating Women's Day is to raise awareness about the status and dignity of women among the students. The celebrations are a fantastic way to promote gender equality, empower women and create awareness about women's rights.
International Women's 2025 celebrated in March 08,2025 calls for a world free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination. This year's theme, "For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment". Emphasis the urgent need to accelerate action for gender equality and empower the next generation. International Women's Day 2025 theme highlights the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and platform for Action, a landmark commitment to advancing women's rights globally. As inequality persists, this day serves as a rallying call to celebrate achievements, raise awareness and demand action from leaders, co-operations and community.
International Women's Day celebration held at Male Co-Operative college of Teacher Education began by 02:00pm at college open stage. The programme began with the flashmob performance by Swathi. Rajeev, Sheethal. Sushanth, Diya. Sudhakaran, Theertha. Prabhakaran, Chandana.Rajesh, Hridhika. Raj,Nandana. Vinod. Later Sneha. Anil from first year English delivered a speech recognizing the vital contributions of women to the society. Afterwards a melodious song was delivered by Ann Mary Jose. The mesmerizing dance performance by Sheethal. Sushanth and Diya seek the attention of the audience. A classical dance performance later done by Sneha. Sasheendran which refresh the eyes of audience.
