SCAVENGER HUNT ACTIVITY

The Tour Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted an exciting Scavenger Hunt activity on 10th March 2025 at 3:30 PM with the objective of promoting teamwork, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and active participation among students. The programme was designed to provide a fun-filled learning experience through adventure-based activity.
The programme began with a brief introduction explaining the rules and objectives of the scavenger hunt. Students were divided into teams and given a set of clues that required quick thinking, observation, coordination, and logical reasoning. Each team had to locate a series of hidden items or checkpoints within the campus by solving the given clues.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and energy, working together to analyze the hints, plan their moves, and reach the destinations within the given time. The activity fostered cooperation, healthy competition, time management, and effective communication among team members. The entire campus was filled with excitement as teams moved enthusiastically from one point to another.
Faculty coordinators carefully monitored the activity to ensure safety, fairness, and smooth conduct of the programme. The participants demonstrated excellent teamwork and strategic thinking throughout the hunt. The activity helped students develop confidence, alertness, leadership, and decision-making abilities in a joyful atmosphere.
At the end of the hunt, the winning team was appreciated for their speed and accuracy. All participants were congratulated for their active involvement and sportsman spirit. Students expressed that the activity was highly enjoyable and helped them learn the value of teamwork and problem-solving in a practical way.
The programme concluded with words of appreciation from the coordinators, who encouraged students to continue participating in such creative, adventurous, and skill-oriented activities. The Scavenger Hunt was a lively and successful initiative, reflecting the Tour Club’s commitment to promoting experiential learning, teamwork, and joyful participation among students.
