The fifth session of the One Day Seminar was handled by Dr. Devi, House Surgeon, RGAMC&H, Mahe, on the topic “Period Positivity: Embracing Natural Cycles.” The session focused on encouraging a positive outlook toward menstruation and breaking the stigma surrounding it.
Dr. Devi emphasized the importance of normalizing menstrual conversations and viewing periods as a symbol of health and vitality rather than shame. The interactive session promoted self-acceptance and aimed to empower student-teachers to become advocates for menstrual awareness.
The session was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal, MCCTE, and Ms. Revathy Madhusoodanan, IQAC Coordinator.
