The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with Iringannur Higher Secondary School, organised an English Poem Recitation Competition on 17th September 2025 at 1:00 PM at IHSS. The event aimed to encourage students to appreciate the beauty of English poetry and to develop their pronunciation, expression, and confidence in public speaking. The competition was conducted in a lively and inspiring atmosphere where students enthusiastically presented various poems with great passion and clarity. The judgement for the event was carried out by Ms. Rihana Fathima and Ms. Fathimath Hasna A.K, both second-year B.Ed. students from MCCTE, who evaluated the participants based on pronunciation, expression, and overall presentation. The programme was well co-ordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Sindhu Jayaraj (Principal, IHSS). The event concluded successfully, providing the students with a valuable opportunity to express their creativity and love for poetry in English.
