LOCAL HISTORY AND LANDMARK

 As part of the teaching practice, a class was conducted on the topic “Local History” to help students understand the significance of their own region’s past. The session aimed to make learners aware of the rich cultural, social, and historical heritage of their locality and to develop a sense of pride and belonging.The class began with an interactive introduction, where students were encouraged to share what they already knew about their village and nearby historical sites. Visual aids and storytelling methods were used to make the session more engaging. The teacher explained how local events, monuments, and traditional practices connect to broader historical developments.
