As part of the school’s Disaster Management awareness programme, a special session on Earthquake Awareness was conducted to educate students about the causes, effects, and precautionary measures to be taken during an earthquake. The session aimed to build awareness and preparedness among students to respond effectively in case of such natural disasters.The class began with a brief introduction to earthquakes, explaining how they occur due to the movement of tectonic plates beneath the Earth’s surface. Visual aids and simple demonstrations were used to make the concept clear and engaging.
