The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, through its IQAC, organized a Session on Menstrual Hygiene in association with PM SHRI Usman Government High School, Chalakkara-Mahe. The session was held on 25/09/2025 from 3:00 to 4:00 in a classroom setting.
The session was led by Ms. Malavika R and Ms.Manjima JR, a second-year B.Ed. student at MCCTE, and focused on creating awareness about menstrual hygiene, promoting healthy practices, and breaking myths and taboos associated with menstruation. The session was highly informative and interactive, helping students understand the importance of proper hygiene management and fostering a sense of confidence and openness in discussing the topic.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as the General Co-ordinator, Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE) as the IQAC Co-ordinator, and Mr. Muralidharan K.V(Headmaster, PM SHRI Usman Government High School) as the Programme Co-ordinator.
