A First Aid Awareness Programme was organized to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for handling medical emergencies. The resource person explained the importance of first aid and demonstrated key steps such as assessing the scene, ensuring responsiveness, controlling bleeding, and maintaining airway and breathing. The session also emphasized the need to keep a first aid kit handy and to promptly call emergency services when required. Students actively listened and engaged in the practical demonstrations.
Outcome: The programme successfully created awareness among students about the significance of first aid. It helped them understand the immediate steps to be taken in case of emergencies and motivated them to act responsibly and confidently in real-life situations.
