The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organized a session on “Harmony in Teaching: Community Living Camp” on 17th September 2025 at the General Hall, First Floor.
The session was conducted as part of the Community Living Camp activities and aimed at fostering a sense of unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility among teacher trainees. The resource person for the programme was Mr. Vipin K., Assistant Professor, MCCTE, who shared his valuable insights on creating harmony in teaching and developing effective community learning practices.
Mr. Vipin emphasized the importance of cooperative learning, empathy, and adaptability in teaching. He also highlighted how community living experiences help prospective teachers to develop leadership qualities, team spirit, and problem-solving skills, which are essential in the teaching profession.
The event was well-coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal and General Co-ordinator, and Ms. Revathy Madhusoodanan, Assistant Professor and IQAC Co-ordinator. Their constant support and encouragement ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants actively shared their thoughts and experiences. Overall, the programme proved to be an enriching experience, instilling in teacher trainees the values of harmony, cooperation, and collective responsibility in both teaching and community life.
