EARTHQUAKE AWARENESS SESSION
An Earthquake Awareness Session was conducted on 24 September 2025 at 11:00 AM by Anusmaya G.S,Archana R The primary aim of the session was to create awareness among students about earthquakes and to equip them with essential knowledge on safety measures.
During the session, students were introduced to the causes of earthquakes and their impact on people, buildings, and the environment. The facilitator explained important safety guidelines such as “Drop, Cover, and Hold”, staying in open areas, and avoiding tall structures during earthquakes. Students also learned about preparing emergency kits and the significance of staying calm during such events.
The use of visual demonstrations and interactive discussion made the session engaging and easy to understand. Students actively participated, asked questions, and shared their thoughts on disaster preparedness.
Overall, the session was highly informative and helped students gain valuable awareness about earthquake safety and precautionary measures.
