The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), in association with GVHSS Kannur, organized a Career Guidance Programme on September 23, 2025 (Tuesday) at 9:30 a.m. in the General Hall of the college.The session was specially conducted for the Plus Two VHSE students of GVHSS Kannur with the objective of providing proper direction and awareness about various career options after higher secondary education.The resource person for the session was Ms. Ashima Kokkadan, a second-year B.Ed. student of MCCTE. She gave an inspiring and informative talk on the importance of choosing the right career path according to one’s interests and abilities. She also explained the different opportunities available in higher education and the professional world, especially in the field of teaching and related areas.The students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts regarding career planning, higher studies, and competitive exams. The interactive nature of the programme made it both interesting and useful for the students.The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M.C (Assistant Professor & IQAC Co-ordinator, MCCTE), and Ms. Rindhu (Principal, GVHSS Kannur & Programme Co-ordinator).The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person and organizers for their efforts in making the session enlightening and beneficial.
