An awareness session on Managing Screen Time was conducted by Nadha, a second-year student of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, at RGMHSS, Mokeri on 20th September 2025 at 10:00 a.m.The session aimed to make students aware of the effects of excessive screen usage and to promote healthy digital habits. It focused on encouraging students to balance their screen time effectively for study, entertainment, and rest.During the session, the teacher discussed the physical, mental, and social impacts of prolonged screen exposure, such as eye strain, lack of concentration, and reduced physical activity. Practical tips were shared to help students manage their time wisely, including setting screen limits, taking regular breaks, and engaging in outdoor or creative activities. Students actively participated in the discussion and shared their own experiences.The session was informative and thought-provoking, helping students realize the importance of digital balance and motivating them to adopt healthier screen habits for their overall well-being.
