North Indian Food Fest
The North Indian Food Fest was organized on 24th September 2025 at the School Auditorium under the initiative of IQAC in association with CEBGHSS, Mahe. The event was coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE, as the General Coordinator, Miss Revathy M, Assistant Professor, as the IQAC Coordinator, and Miss Renjini, Teacher of CEBGHSS, as the Class Coordinator. The program was conducted by Neha Fathima, a second-year B.Ed student of MCCTE.
The food fest aimed to introduce students to the rich and diverse culinary traditions of North India while promoting cultural awareness and appreciation. The participants included students from classes 9 to Plus Two, who enthusiastically took part in preparing, displaying, and tasting a variety of North Indian dishes such as samosa, chole bhature, paneer tikka, jalebi, and lassi. The aroma, flavor, and presentation of each dish reflected the vibrant spirit and hospitality of North Indian culture.
The event created an engaging learning experience beyond the classroom, helping students understand regional diversity through food. It also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a sense of pride in Indian culture. The active participation of students and the guidance of teachers made the event a grand success. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and the true taste of North India, making it a memorable and educational experience for everyone involved.
