The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MAHE
Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in
association with K.R.H.S.S Purameri, organized a
session on Remedial Teaching on 29th September 2025
at 2:30 pm. The resource person for the session was Ms.
Krishna Theertha B R, who provided valuable insights
into the concept and practices of remedial
instruction.The session aimed to enhance the understanding of student teachers regarding strategies to
support learners who face academic challenges and to
promote inclusive teaching practices within the
classroom setting.
Ms. Krishna Theertha B R effectively discussed various
methods of identifying learning difficulties, planning
remedial lessons, and implementing effective
intervention strategies. The interactive session
encouraged active participation and reflection among the
attendees. The program was coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha
K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathi M (Assistant
Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Shyni K (Headmistress
