Teaching about Local History and Landmarks
The session on Local History and Landmarks was conducted by Amaya KV
on 1st October 2025 at 10:00 AM. The main objective of the session was to help students understand the significance of their local heritage and to create awareness about the historical and cultural importance of nearby landmarks.
During the session, students were introduced to various important sites in their locality, such as historical buildings, temples, forts, and natural landmarks. Visual aids and maps were used to make the class more engaging and informative. Students were also encouraged to share their own knowledge and experiences related to local places of importance.
The session helped students develop a sense of pride and responsibility towards preserving their local culture and history. It also enhanced their understanding of how local history contributes to the larger narrative of our nation.
